Thomiss Olssøn
(1634/41->1701)
Thomiss Olssøn is the oldest known son of Karen Pedersdatter (c.1614-c.1670) who inherited one half of the Sandvigen farm from Peder Pedersøn (?-c.1662, see 'Early Sandvigen Line') around the year 1662. Peder was possibly the brother of Karen. Thomiss' age is stated as 32 years old in the 1666 census and sixty years old in the 1701 census, thus giving his the birth year of either 1634, 1641 or some time in between.
Kvæfjordboka states that Kirsten Margarete ? was Thomiss' second wife while his first wife's name is unknown. No primary source has yet been found to confirm this. Thomiss' last known record is stated in the 1701 census.
